History

Broadway Tech Centre is on the former land site of Eaton’s distribution centre. Since the initial purchase of the site in 1995, extensive physical upgrades and community amenities have been integrated into the design and operations of Broadway Tech Centre. A new road (Virtual Way) and access paths were built to service the campus and the surrounding community.

A sports court and patio with gas barbeques, located at the centre of the site is perhaps one of the most impactful additions to the site.  A park for the enjoyment of the community is located at the northwest corner of the property.  The park encourages community use through pathway entrances off of Broadway and Renfrew streets.
